The First Few Hours of God of War Ragnarök Are Incredible

Composer Accuses God of War Ragnarok of Not Crediting Her Work

God of War Ragnarok Might be Missing Something Important

It’s no secret that God of War: Ragnarok is seeing incredible success right now. The game’s been all over social media, with people sharing their top-notch experiences. One professional composer is really happy to see all the love the game is getting – though laments one small detail. She asserts that, despite the fact that her work made it into the final game, she received no credit for it.

She begins her Twitter thread by saying: “i’m so happy to see so many folks enjoying God of War Ragnarök! i worked on the editing/arrangement/implementation of the Freya chase scene and Thor boss fight music.

The senior audio and technical designer on the God of War Ragnarok project has shown his support for this effort, replying with sympathy and a promise to make things right.

It’s a wave of support that, seemingly, everyone responding to the post shares in. The studio itself, however, has not yet responded.

What are your thoughts on this issue? Does it surprise you that a game like God of War would stumble into a problem like this? We’d love to hear from you in the comments down below!
