Frogwares, a development team in Ukraine, that has worked on the Sherlock Holmes franchise for quite some time, has released a new trailer for Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. In the trailer, fans get a more in-depth look at the game as well as an update from the Ukrainian team. The game is set to release on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in February 2023.

In the trailer, viewers get a look at the game’s elements, including combining detective gameplay with Lovecraftian horror. The remake puts a unique twist on a popular and storied franchise by introducing new aspects to the game. Furthermore, at the conclusion of the trailer, the team pays tribute to the soldiers in Ukraine and thanks fans for their continued support during this difficult period.

Moreover, in the game, players will become Sherlock Holmes, a young and scared detective who is tasked with uncovering the mystery behind Cthulhu. Also, players will be tasked with solving the mystery behind various appearances across Europe and America. Along the way, players will enjoy adventures across several areas such as Baker Street, London, a psych ward in Switzerland, the Louisiana Wetlands and much more. Additionally, the developers have rebuilt the game to introduce new mechanics, gameplay, side quests, an expanded storyline, graphics and sound.
