The Long Dark Tales From The Far Territory Has A Lot of Content

The Long Dark is a first person survival game that was released in 2014 by Hinterland Studio. Since then, the team has poured content into the title. The developers recently announced that it is prepared to release its first paid expansion, Tales From The Far Territory. The expansion will release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on December 5th, 2022, and will be available on PlayStation, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch in early 2023. The expansion’s release will be staggered over a twelve-month period.

Players of the game will receive both paid and free updates over the course of the twelve months. Furthermore, players can expect the releases every eight to ten weeks, depending upon development capabilities and timing. The developers have announced some new locations including Far Range Branch Line, Forsaken Airfield, Mountain Pass and Industrial Mine. Additionally, players can look forward to cool new gameplay mechanics such as glimmer fog, insomnia affliction, enhanced cooking, item variants and more.

Moreover, the new expansion will include three narrative-drive Tales, which focus on gameplay, objectives and builds upon the story of the Great Bear Island and the Wintermute Storyline. The expansion will include content for every gamer that enjoys The Long Dark.
